Rules
How to Win
In order to win a round of wrestling, you must get an opponent's knee, elbow, or back to touch the ground (like the guy in the picture). Once the first round is completed, you must get through more and more round (typically 6 to 10) in order to win the competition. Unlike many other sports, there are no wight classes, time limits, or points (you either win or lose).
How to Lose (Fouls)
There are few things that are not allowed in Mongolian wrestling, but it is important that the wrestlers do follow these rules. In the the Inner Mongolian style, wrestlers may not touch their opponent's legs with their hands. Also, striking, strangling, and locking opponents is illegal.
